“The American Heart Association: Building Healthier Lives, Free of
Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke” The Healthy Heart Program recently
took part in the AHA’s “You’re the Cure on the Hill” Event in
Washington, D.C. Apart from
linking with influential individuals from the medical and health field,
the Healthy Heart program also learned to be better advocates of health
to our community.

73 provides direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown by local
farmers. We offer two
shares, a medium share (7-9 items, feeds 1-2 people) for $12/week, and a
large share (9-11 items, feeds 3-4 people) for $20/week. Payments due
one week before each delivery and can be made by cash, check, or SNAP.
You can pick up your produce each week on Wednesday
at P.S. 73 (1020 Anderson Avenue
Bronx, NY 10452) between the hours of 4pm-7pm starting on
Wednesday, June 15th, 2011.

THE NEW YORK ACADEMY OF MEDICINE
The HHHP was also involved in the New York Academy of Medicine’s Obesity
Symposium. During this event, many ways of combating obesity in
disadvantaged communities were discussed.
